Gangtaz ghetto day dreams Sitting on the sidewalk Baking from the blaze of the sun Puttin on some sun block Howling at every walkby Screaming "this is my block" Graduating to extremes at sun down pointing twin glocks Getting permanent tattoos Assigning them to different platoons Gangsta wars and rituals become a usual This is no shock Moving one step closer to the grave Time is ticking The waters are drying The families are crying The flags are no longer flying HIGH!!!!!!! Our 14yr olds are no longer flying on a natural HIGH!!!!!!! Their minds have become stiff From that 14cm coke sniff Niggaz ditch the spliff And indulge in poetry to get some life long relief It's all about belief Phase one of mental emancipation is forgetting and forgiving the effects of van riebek and ritief Stop cursing botha and maybe u might feel better Move over from the tyranny and tragedy of terreblance and have yourself a business lunch Stop remminicing about the would haves and could haves of Biko But take a trip down to Iziko And maybe later embark on a journey to ur ancestral kraal to do a ritual or isiko Only then you'll realise that the voices that echo reason deep in our subconscious sence are not demonic but harmonic Aiming to create a melodic tune in your soul via an Angelic, character specific and acoustic manner It's realistic pleasure supercedes the discovery of a golden treasure It is a divine pleasure Take a moment and think Maybe you'll realise that your very own mind is able and powerful beyond measure BELIEVE!!!!!!

GHETTO NIGHT RHYMES Girls screaming and Guns blazing Niggaz cursing and cops chasing Dogs barking and moms shouting Cops and Ambulance sirens hooting Man down blood flowing Tears rolling All in a nights tale in my ghetto. Sleep is a privilledge 'cause we chose to leave the villege Now these ghetto night rhymes have taken leverage Fuck why am I still paying mortgage? Ghetto night rhymes have turned horrific lullabies 'cause it's continuous deception and lies we hear Fake lashes and nails and hair What the hell is going on out here? I suggest u color me blind With the marked ink of ancient wisdom For my eyes and ears have come to become sensitive to these ghetto night rhymes This burden's become heavy on my faith. I used to stay up till late Walk up the streets while my elders mate In persuit of meeting my mate in the still of the night But sadly that beautiful stillness was polluted by these convolluted ghetto night rhymes No more soulfull rythmic sounds nor romantic ballad vibes Only these disturbing Ghetto Night Rhymes...

17 Feb 2013 was the beginning of another epic poetic era for NguduThePoet in Free State Province when he wowed the crowd and stole the show that was organized by The Archives Org, a poetry group based in Bloemfontein that promotes and organizes poetry events around the Free State province. The theme of the event was 'Scent of Affection' placed around the theme of love and romance as we know that February is the month of love. On the 2nd of March NguduThePoet was then invited at Kovsie FM as a guest performer at Nkox-The-Leader's afternoon show called 'The Covenant' where a greater part of Bloemfontein got to know more about The Poet and his poetry. Recently on the 21st of April, NguduThePoet again wowed the crowd at eKhayeni Pub at another poetry session organized by 'The Archives' themed 'Rise of the Galactic Prophecy'. More and more is still coming from this young and energetic poet, stay tuned and do not miss out. This blog is now back on full swing and more of NguduThePoet's poems will be posted on a regular including his latest projects and where his next performances will be. Quote: If your eye can see that far, your hand can reach that far, you just have to allow your feet to carry you that far...... Bless!!!

WHO AM IFOOLING? I am one with my soul So I keep telling my mind But it’s a different story with my body I am mind, body and soul. Who am I fooling? It is crystal clear that in this relationship I am the minister without portfolio My pure hearted love is never enough True Love is only a magazine that women read In my world that shit doesn’t exist. She got a big heart That’s why she loved me and him Things got more complicated when I started sleeping with her So I sent my prayers to him While she was busy sleeping with her. Now stuck in the matrix Dodging bullets of stigmatised commentary and disgusting labels Now because I have the HIV. Now time moves slower and my sins sink into my soul and sober my senses The only comfort that I can comes and lies in the bottle of Jameson Who’s strong scents tickle my tongue utter sinful words Directed to sassy ladies that lead us to sex Flesh on flesh sex is the order of the day With the woman whose name I can’t even remember It’s a vicious circle because my fake love Has resulted in 4 abortions and countless infections. KILL ME NOW! KILL ME NOW! Dear God why don’t you take me now? First I was careless then acted wreckless and now I’m left hopeless They say the truth sets you free But this truth has left me destitute And I don’t need your pity nor your negative attitude Fuck! Who am I fooling? If I could live my life all over again I swear I would live it according to the 10 commandments As much as there’s a thin line between love and hate I never thought that my love could quickly turn into hate I guess now it’s a little too late... TIGHT RHYMES

A lot of faces unsuspecting Metals not detecting Children not respecting their elders Do you blame them, they're orphans They never got fancy offers, they're loafers Take me out of this coffin I'm no longer coughing I'm puffing and passing this joint As I lyrically spit to the point I think I've reached my boilinng point Tight rhymes, tight times I'm using tight rhymes to describe these trying tiimes Aluta Continua, the struggle continues That line is so true I dont object But I subject you to open your eyes and ears And filter these illuminatic lies Spreading like flies Dirty coded files Resulting in shrill demented cries I hope you look into the skies the same way I do Maybe you'll see things the same way I do My facebook and twitter pages Are filled with raging savages and sages Trapped in illuminatic passages Dancing hostages Writing cryptic messages Girls selling their bodies Boys swimming in lust How long will this last? This is not my first nor my last But I'll be damned if I dont bury my past. K.NGUDU© copyright reserved

A Poem For lilGtheBASEDgub

Hott looking Soul Sista with a fine figure

White teeth, soft cheeks like a Dove's feather

Skin so soft you can sleep forever

Sassy Soul Sista with an attitude of a Diva

She flaunts her smile night and day no matter the weather

However!

She's not your cheap type, she's more genuine than real leather

Keep her by your side and you'll experience the meaning of together.

She's a Bull with sharp horns

Even the stars in the skies know the sharpness of her horns

She's the mother of planets even the zodiac vows

Even the darkest of spirits infront of her feet bows

Her determination is felt from her firm grip with her powerful claws

In battles and wars she settles the scores

She's a Soul Sista!

In her presence, even the Earth bans its laws...
